Hi,

I have a problem with SharePoint permissions. My team needs access to the path in the first picture.

With a normal grant access. Users can only access this path by link. And when he goes to the previous subfolder, he gets a notice error.

Hi @Nguyễn Đức Triển,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Regarding your request to grant a user access to a specific subfolder without allowing them to see other subfolders:

Currently, SharePoint does not provide a permission level that completely hides other subfolders from view. You can restrict access to the content of those folders, but they may still appear in the structure.

I agree this would be a valuable enhancement for better view management. It definitely a great improvement to the current availabilities for Share point site. In that case, I sincerely recommend you go to Feedback community hare it through the official Microsoft Feedback Portal. This is the best way The Product Team is in-charge of the feedback site, and they are constantly checking the comments and feedback from our customer. Many features have been developed or improved based on users' comment.

As a moderator, I don’t have the ability to change or influence Microsoft’s product design or service limitations directly.

How to Submit Your Suggestion to Microsoft:.

Visit the Microsoft Feedback Portal:

-Go to: SharePoint · Community  then Send Feedback and Describe your proposal in detail

Describe your suggestion clearly for example:

“Grant access to a user for a specific subfolder without displaying other subfolders.”

After post your feedback on the SharePoint · Community , feel free to share the link here. I would be happy to vote for it, and I’m sure other users with similar concerns would appreciate the chance to support it too.  .As you know, the Microsoft Q&A forum is quite large, so to help other members with similar ideas find your post more easily, you can upvote the answer. That way other user who want the same feature can vote it and it can also be pinned and gain more visibility.

Alternatively you could submitting feedback directly to the Microsoft product team through the Share Point site.
