incoming emails do not include accept refuse calendar invitations

Incoming emails do not contain anymore the accept / decline / etc. buttons related to agenda invitations. How to fix this ?

Where are you meeting this issue (Outlook Web, New Outlook, Classic Outlook for Windows, Outlook for Mac)? Please check in Outlook Web since this it interacts directly to the server.

Is it a Team meeting or a normal meeting?

Do you see the meeting in your calendar?

Are you using a personal or a business account?

If possible, can you provide some screenshots?

-> yes see attached file (no buttons appear anymore)

-> yes the buttons displayed in your previous message are the right ones. These are missing from a couple of days now (last invitations I could reply to are back end of October), thus I am questioning if any MS updates could have caused the problem. Thanks in advance.

If you are using Outlook.com, try using Outlook Web to see if have this problem (please skip this if you are using another provider).

You can try Repair an Office application - Microsoft Support (Choose Repair Online)

I am not using Outlook.com.

I found this thread that has the same problem as yours.

I am unable to accept / decline meeting requests in New Outlook (Windows 11) I do not get a RSVP pa…

It can be due to the calendar synchronization problem; you can try remove your account and add it again to force a resync to the server.

If that doesn't work, try reverting to Classic Outlook to see if it helps.

Yes I did, it is ok now with Classic Outlook. So much time lost... the new Outlook should not be released with such bugs.

For the past several months I have had no issues with this. Suddenly the problem appeared on November 6th 2025 without any changes made to the settings.

Answer accepted, although reinstalling an older version of Outlook is not what I expected from Microsoft

In the New Outlook, have you tried logging out and in again?

This would force a resync for your calendar.

Yes, many times, but this does not modify the absence of the accept / decline buttons on incoming invitations.
