After a long wait I got the "Enroll Now" button for my old PC not meeting the Windows 11 requirements. That was a couple of weeks ago.

Everytime I click "Enroll now" it thinks a bit and a pop up tells me that

"ESU Enrolment Coming SoonEnrolment for Windows 10 Extended Security Updates is temporarily unavailable in your region."

I am in Denmark and the region settings in windows is also in Denmark. I enabled location sharing.

Are they still rolling out the enrollment or is something wrong?

Hi Tue,

In Denmark the consumer ESU flow is still being enabled in stages, so clicking Enroll now can show temporarily unavailable in your region until Microsoft flips it on for your locale. Microsoft's ESU page says the rollout is phased and that timing and options vary by region. That is why you are seeing the Coming soon message.

What to do now? Just keep everything aligned for Denmark and let the rollout catch up. Make sure the PC is on Windows 10 version 22H2 with the latest cumulative update, stay signed in with your Microsoft account, and leave Region and Language set to Denmark. Once Microsoft enables enrollment for your device in DK, the same Enroll now link will complete normally. Microsoft also confirms you can enroll any time up to 13 October 2026 and you will receive any earlier ESU updates after you enroll, so you will not miss fixes because of this delay.

For EEA specifically, Microsoft states that if you sign in and keep using your Microsoft account on the device, ESU is available at no additional cost, with a simple 60 day check-in requirement. There is also an optional one-time purchase path if you prefer not to remain signed in. Those EEA rules apply in Denmark once your device is eligible.

I hope this helps in some way!

    Install KB5066791

then Download and run Consumer_ESU_Feature.cmd as administrator, and press 1 to enable the required EEA feature
