I can connect various bluetooth speakers to this new Windows 11 laptop, but no sound comes out. There is nothing wrong with any of the speakers as they work on other laptops. How do I correct this issue in Windows 11.

Hello RUNYON, CHARLES, thanks for posting this in our community.

If your Bluetooth speaker connects but doesn't produce sound, try setting it as the default playback device. You can do this by right-clicking the speaker icon in the taskbar and opening Sound settings. Under Output, select your Bluetooth speaker. If it's not listed, click Add device or go to Manage sound devices to enable it.

You can also try restarting the Bluetooth services. Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter. Look for Bluetooth Support Service and Bluetooth Audio Gateway Service (if available), then restart them.

Hope this works on your device.

    Kind regards,

    John Oli
