I have some Windows Licenses that have been inactive due to computer problems and I would like to find the unused Windows 10 Pro licenses that I can use to upgrade one of my working computers from Windows 10 Home to Pro

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

For security reasons, Microsoft does not display your product key anywhere online or within your Microsoft account. This is to protect your license from unauthorized access or misuse.

Instead, the product key is digitally linked to your Microsoft account. This means that if you reinstall Windows or replace any hardware components, you can simply sign in with your Microsoft account to reactivate Windows.

In some situations, you may need to run the Activation Troubleshooter and select the correct device to transfer your license.

    • You can sign in with your Microsoft account here -

    https://account.microsoft.com/devices/

    • This page displays all devices attached to your Microsoft account.
    • Select the device in the lists > then 'Info & Support' > OS edition.
    • This will show you if you have the digital license for Windows Home or PRO.

You can then sign in with the same Microsoft account on the PC you want to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro and run the Activation Troubleshooter to transfer the license from the unused device to the new one.

    Important -

You can transfer the license from one device to another if it is a Retail license. (Purchased and activated separately from Microsoft stores or through a third-party reseller)

If it is an OEM key (Which is already preinstalled on the device), the license cannot be transferred.
