Outlook: the font size reduce when replying to an email

The font automatically reduced when I click "reply" or "reply all" responding to an incoming email. And the font in my sent email is backed to normal (not reduced) when I check my sent email. How to reset this to the same font throughout (i.e. incoming mail, preparing a response, and sent mail)?

    Dear JH,

    Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum. I am sorry to hear about your problem with font size when replying to email in Outlook

    Here are a few steps to help you troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Disable Plain Text Mode When Replying

    Sometimes, incoming emails are in plain text format, which can cause the font to appear smaller when replying.

    • Open Outlook --> Settings --> Mail --> Compose and reply --> Message format --> switch HTML--> Save

    2. Check Zoom Settings

    Your browser’s zoom level may affect how fonts appear.

    • Go to Outlook --> View --> Zoom --> Set 100%

    3. If you are using Outlook desktop app, try the step

    • File-->Options-->Mail-->Stationary and fonts

    4. Uninstall Outlook and then reinstall: Sometimes when you re-install app, it will help solve your problem.

    To better understand the issue, could you please send a screenshot comparing:

    • The font size when replying to an email
    • The font size in the sent email

    If the issue persists, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me again. I’m always here to help you.
