An application or feature powered by Windows Copilot to assist users with tasks and productivity
Dear Rogelio Gámez
Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A Foum. I'm Haien from Microsoft Q&A.
This kind of behavior, where a persistent UI element like the input box interferes with the content display, is generally related to the rendering logic of the web application or desktop container for Copilot.
You can try this recommended prompt structure and let me know anything news for narrowing down your problem:
- In your browser (Edge, Chrome, etc.), clear the cache and cookies for all time.
- Test if the issue persists in another supported browser to isolate it to a single browser's settings or profile.
- Temporarily disable all browser extensions, especially those related to ad-blocking or styling, as they can interfere with web page rendering.
- Set page zoom to 100% (Ctrl + 0) and try "Reading view" (F9) temporarily—it can stabilize scrolling in chat interfaces
- In Microsoft Edge (recommended), go to Settings > System and performance > Turn off "Efficiency mode" to reduce any throttling on dynamic elements. Also, ensure Edge is updated via Help and feedback > About Microsoft Edge.
- For the desktop app, go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps > Search for "Microsoft Edge" > Click the three dots > Advanced options > Repair. If needed, select Reset (note: this may clear local chat history, so back up any important ones first).
