I would like to setup a second desktop but when I do that the second desktop is an exact duplicate of my original desktop1. I would like the second desktop to be blank so I can move apps and folders etc over to it from desktop1.

Hello,

When you said second desktop, I take it as the one you created from Task View on the taskbar, we are not talking about multiple monitors/displays, right?

If that's the case, then the answer is no. Task View is a feature designed to help you organize open applications on virtual desktops and cannot be used to create a desktop with no shortcuts.

Not a second monitor. I find that if I delete and application or folder, it also does the same action on desktop1. So what you are saying is, I create a desktop2, open a program or folder over there and then 'toggle' back and forth as needed or wanted, correct?
