I bought a pc over a year ago with windows 10 already installed. a few months ago I upgraded to windows 11 pro. Today I randomly got the watermark to activate windows and when I went to settings it said it's not activated. The error code is 0xC004F074. This is my first time encountering this issue.

Your device is activated with a volume license. This type of license requires the organization's activation host to reactivate the system.

If you have recently purchased a license for your device or it is still within the warranty period, I recommend contacting the vendor and requesting a replacement license key. We typically obtain a retail license if we purchase Windows separately, or an OEM license if Windows is preinstalled on the device.

Otherwise, you may need to purchase a new license to reactivate the operating system.

Please don't hesitate to contact us if you need any additional help.
