How do I stop this "Finish setting up" from linking my phone?

My cell phone is Flip Phone. TALK AND TEXT ONLY. NO WIFI OR INTERNET ON IT.

Doing a finish setting up, links my phone, kicks me out of my Internet on my PC, which is free, provided through the Senior Complex I live at. I went in and turned off Mobile in settings in my PC, and my Internet came back up. Now I am getting this "Finish setting up" again and it includes linking my phone, which I do not want, so I have been just ignoring that notification. Is there a way to stop that set up from linking the phone? Can I continue ignoring that notification?

Hi,

You don’t need to link your flip phone at all, Ruth, and it’s safe to just ignore that "Finish setting up" message if you’d rather not deal with it. If you’d like to stop the nagging altogether, you can go into Settings > System > Notifications > Additional settings and turn off "Suggest ways to get the most out of Windows", which is basically what generates those reminders. Another option is to remove or uninstall the Phone Link app from Settings > Apps, since it has no purpose without a smartphone. Both of these steps simply silence the prompts they won’t affect your actual internet connection or interfere with the way you use your PC.

Kind regards,
