can't sign in to my Microsoft account from my computer

Windows 10 Pro version 22H2 user as administrator. I can’t sign in to my Microsoft account from my computer to turn on Find My Device or change from a local account to a Microsoft account. If I try to log in with my password, I’m prompted to enter it a second time and told that the password is incorrect. If I log in with a code to my backup email, I’m again prompted to enter the password twice and told that it’s incorrect. I'm not being shown any error code, just can't sign in. Any suggestions?

Hi, I am Van. I'll be glad to assist you today.

May I verify if the 2nd prompt asks for the current Windows password? When prompted for the current Windows password, it refers to the local account password. If the PC's local account does not have a password or there is no local user account, click "Next" without entering any password. This should allow you to complete the process.

Otherwise, enter the local admin account password to proceed

I have the same problem but clicking NEXT without entering anything doesn't work and I am not aware that I might have a local admin account, could you help me?

Not helpful ive been locked out of my account and can’t get back in or anyone to speak to to find out why
