Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Hello Trevor. If your Outlook or Edge is becomes unresponsive when attempting to print to PDF, the issue maybe because stem from a combination of system-level print configuration and Outlook-specific security settings. In Outlook for Windows (Classic), printing to PDF can be blocked if mandatory sensitivity labeling is enabled, as this prevents the preservation of labels in the PDF output.
Additionally, system-level issues such as outdated printer drivers or misconfigured print queues may cause applications to freeze during the print process. To resolve this, first ensure your Windows 11 system is fully updated by going to Settings > Windows Update. Then, verify that the Microsoft Print to PDF feature is enabled via Control Panel > Programs > Turn Windows features on or off. If Outlook is still freezing, try printing from another app to confirm whether the issue is application-specific. For Outlook, you may also attempt printing after disabling label policies if applicable.
