Download Service_Fix.zip:

  • Extract the two files, then copy them to the root of your 'C' drive.
  • Double click on RegTI.exe, this will launch Regedit as Trusted Installer.
  • In Regedit, go to File > Import and select sechealth+wscsvc.reg

If you get a success message it's all good so far.

Next run Windows Powershell as administrator and run:

reg delete "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows Defender" /f;Set-MpPreference -UILockdown 0;

Reboot the computer.

    Open Windows Powershell.

Copy and paste in the following command > press enter.

gsv dosvc, mpssvc, SecurityHealthService, usosvc, WdBoot, WdFilter, WdNisDrv, WinDefend, wscsvc | ft -auto Name, DisplayName, StartType, Status

Post a screenshot of the output.

    Thanks.

It seems like Malware is involved.

    Hi,

I'm Sumit, here to help with your query on the Microsoft Q&A forums.

Apologies for any inconvenience you are experiencing. I am happy to help you today.

    Please try this:

    In the Windows search,

Type Powershell, right-click it, and choose Run as Administrator.

    Execute this command:

    Get-AppxPackage *Microsoft.SecHealthUI* | Reset-AppxPackage

Let me know if the problem persists after a PC Restart and this command.

I look forward to your response and am eager to collaborate until we find a solution.
