I've been noticing lots of time and I've been starting to realize that app icons in search are starting to become normal photo files, like, and it's spreading, it started from Windows Security, then spreaded to settings, then more installed apps. User's image

Like the file icon is like this. Does anyone know how to fix? This is the stuff I did, but it never worked:- sfc /scannow- the DISM- chkdsk- Windows Update (basically keeping up to date, I'm currently on version 22H2) Please help,, it's getting scary like my computer is being corrupted.

Please try creating a new local administrator account then check if the issue persists.

    I've did the rebuilding the icon cache, Display scaling, ease of access, even I deleted the thumbnails folder by using the Disk Cleanup, still nothing.

    When was the last time it worked properly?

    Have you made any changes to your computer recently?

    Please try the following methods below.

    • Please try in Display settings

    Press Windows key+I to open Settings > System > Display

    Under Scale and layout > If it was set to 100% (Recommended), Change it to 125% then restart your computer

    then change it back again to 100% then restart your computer

    • Please try in Ease of Access settings

    Press Windows key+I to open Settings > Ease of Access > Display

    Under Make everything bigger > If it was set to 100% (Recommended), Change it to 125% then restart your computer

    then change it back again to 100% then restart your computer

    • Please try rebuilding the Icon Cache in Windows 10
