Using the New Outlook for Mac features in business environments
Hi Levi
Thank you for taking the time to explore the Outlook's function in such depth. It’s clear that you’ve already gathered nearly all of the most current and relevant information available from Microsoft.
We understand your concern regarding the absence of automatic team calendar integration based on organizational charts in Outlook for macOS. This feature is currently available in Outlook for Windows, where calendars for your team or direct reports are automatically displayed using organizational data from Microsoft 365.
Unfortunately, this functionality is not yet supported in Outlook for macOS - the automatic display of team calendars based on org chart is not currently implemented. We recognize this may cause inconvenience, and we sincerely regret any disruption this may have caused to your workflow.
In the meantime, we’d like to offer the following workarounds to help you manage team calendars effectively on macOS:
Manually Add Shared Calendars
You can manually add calendars for your team members by selecting “Add Shared Calendar” in the Calendar view and searching for their names.
Use Outlook Web App (OWA)
The web version of Outlook at https://outlook.office.com/ offers broader calendar integration features and may better support your needs.
Additionally, we would greatly appreciate it if you could share your feedback directly with us through the Feedback feature in Outlook by going to Outlook > Help > Feedback > Suggest a Feature or go to
We truly appreciate your patience and feedback as we continue to improve Outlook across platforms. Please know that your feedback is genuinely appreciated and is being taken seriously. Our engineering and product teams are continuously working to enhance the new Outlook experience, and many improvements are driven directly by user input like yours. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts, it truly helps us make Outlook better for everyone.
