Hi! This issue, where your audio format and spatial audio settings reset after each reboot, is usually caused by one of the following:
- Default Audio Driver Reloading: You’re currently using the Microsoft generic “High Definition Audio Device” driver, which is a fallback driver. It’s common for this driver to reset advanced audio settings.
Visit your motherboard manufacturer’s support page, and download the official Realtek audio driver for your model.
- Windows Fast Startup: Fast Startup can cause certain settings, especially those initialized early during boot, to not persist.
- Go to Control Panel > Power Options > Choose what the power buttons do
- Click Change settings that are currently unavailable
- Uncheck Turn on fast startup
- Save and reboot.
