    Hi theking2,

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

I am sincerely grateful to you for the patience with which we are considering this issue. Thank you for choosing Microsoft, and we appreciate your support.

As far i known, the image you provided shows a green banner with the text "Salesforce Full Connection only," which appears to be a notification or status message from a tool like Microsoft Power Query or Excel, indicating that a query is set to "Connection only" mode. This mode means the query is defined, but the data isn’t loaded into a sheet yet—it’s only connected to the data source (in this case, Salesforce). To load the data from this query into a sheet in Excel, you’ll need to change the load settings.

Below are the steps tailored for Excel on Windows to load the data from this query into a sheet, overriding the "Connection only" setting.

    Open the Power Query Editor

    • Launch Excel: Open the workbook containing the "Salesforce Full" query.
    • Access Queries & Connections:
      • Go to the Data tab on the Ribbon.
      • Click Queries & Connections (on the left side of the Get & Transform Data group) to open the pane.
    • Locate the Query: In the Queries tab of the pane, find "Salesforce Full." It will have a "Connection only" icon (a link symbol) next to it.
    • Edit the Query:
      • Double-click "Salesforce Full" to open it in the Power Query Editor, or right-click and select Edit.

    Change the Load Settings

    • In Power Query Editor:
      • Review the query steps to ensure the Salesforce data is correctly configured.
      • Click Home > Close & Load (or Close & Load To… for more options).
    • Choose Load Destination:
      • A dialog box ("Import Data") will appear.
      • Select Table to create a new sheet with the data, or Existing Worksheet to load into a specific cell (e.g., $A$1) in an existing sheet.
      • Optionally, check Add this data to the Data Model if you plan to use it in PivotTables or other analyses.
      • Click OK. The data will load into the chosen location, replacing the "Connection only" behavior.

Alternative: Load from Queries & Connections Pane

    • If you prefer not to edit the query:
      • In the Queries & Connections pane, right-click "Salesforce Full."
      • Select Load To….
      • In the "Import Data" dialog, choose Table or Existing Worksheet, then click OK.
      • This will load the data into a sheet and update the query’s load setting.

    Verify the Data

    • Check the new or updated sheet to confirm the Salesforce data is loaded.
    • If the data is missing or shows errors, reopen the Power Query Editor (right-click the query in the pane > Edit) to troubleshoot (e.g., check Salesforce authentication or query steps).

    Refresh the Data (Optional)

    • To update the data later, go to the Data tab > Refresh All, or right-click the table/sheet and select Refresh.
    • Ensure your Salesforce connection credentials are valid if prompted.

    Something you can noted:

    "Connection only" Still Active:

    • Right-click the query in the Queries & Connections pane, select Properties, and ensure "Enable Load" is checked. Uncheck "Load to Data Model only" if it’s selected.

    Authentication Issues:

    • Go to Data > Get Data > Query Options > Data Source Settings, and re-enter Salesforce credentials if needed.

    Errors Loading:

    • If you get a #VALUE! or connection error, verify the workbook is saved and the Salesforce connection is active. Check Data > Get Data > Data Source Settings for any blocked sources.

    Windows-Specific Notes:

    • Ensure you’re using a version with Power Query (Excel 2016 or later, including Microsoft 365).
    • Save the workbook as .xlsx before loading to avoid compatibility issues.

If you encounter specific issues (e.g., error messages or no data), please let me know the details, and I’ll refine the solution.

We look forward to your reply. We will continue to assist you if you any other question or based on the information you provide. I sincerely appreciate your patience and cooperation.

If my answer is helpful, please mark it as an answer by Yes, which will definitely help others in the community who have similar queries to find solutions to their problems faster.

Thanks and Have a good day!!!

    Best regards.
