Onedrive says offline mode isn't turned on so some features aren't available???

My onedrive suddenly says "offline mode isn't turned on so some features aren't available". I can't open any files or folders, so can't do anything with them. **** is this. I tried it on operagx, doesn't work. I tried on Edge and it suddenly works, but Edge is ****. I tried on the opera browser, also had the same issue. I tried on brave browser. Also same issue. I don't get it. I can't change any settings regarding this offline mode, and I can't find a single answer anywhere online. The rest of all the apps do work though.
Oh and onedrive also decided to suddenly switch to Danish, whilst all other apps were in English. When I went to settings it also said it was in English so I effectively couldn't change the language of my onedrive. Somehow that magically fixed itself going to a different browser. I tried adding a screenshot but it constantly fails to upload. The only thing visible in the screenshot is the error message which I quoted above.

Dear Justin,

Thanks for the updates.

As per the further updates, since it's working fine in the Microsoft Edge and working fine on your browser, definitely the issue is not related to your OneDrive and it should be related to the browsers where you are accessing OneDrive.

So, I request you please clear the browser cache of the browsers where you are having the issue with the OneDrive and see whether the same problem happens.

If still the same, can you please confirm whether the browser having issue is enabled with the extension? If yes, please temporarily turn it off and check the outcome.

If possible, please uninstall the problematic browser and re-install to check the outcome?

Appreciate your time with us and we will be waiting for the update from you.

Best Regards,

Sophia

CONFIRMED - using UBlock Origin will cause OneDrive's web interface to display the 'Offline mode' message and prevent you from opening any files. I turned off UBlock and refreshed the page, suddenly I could open the files I expected.

    1. As visible in the screenshot, the details button is disabled. I cannot click it and hovering over it does not show any information.
    2. Onedrive (in the browser) seems to work fine on my phone.
    3. I don't know anyone that has this issue. IT help at my university also doesn't know how to fix this, besides just using Edge.

Hi, that is not the error message that I receive. I'm able to upload a screenshot this time though. None of the buttons at the top work (the 9 dot matrix, the search bar, the help icons, settings or even my account), they just do not allow me to click them. I also can't open any files.

    Dear Justin,

    Good day!!

Firstly, we are sorry for the inconvenience caused with the OneDrive for Business and please allow us to help you at our best.

As per the description shared, I would like to confirm whether you are prompted with “Working offline. Changes will be uploaded when you reconnect” when you open your OneDrive in the browser:

If yes, I would like to convey that the Offline mode is a new feature in the OneDrive, where it will allow the users to access the content in the OneDrive in the browser without the internet connection and for reference here is the article: Work with OneDrive web app when offline - Microsoft Support

To turn off the Offline mode in your OneDrive for Business, I request you follow the steps:

Open the OneDrive for Business in the browser> My Files tab> Click on the Details or Info at the top right> Click on Turn Off under the Offline mode> In the Confirmation Dialogue, please click on Turn Off.

    Image

Next time when you reopen the OneDrive for Business in the browser, you will not see Offline Mode.

**Note:**If you still the Offline Mode after turning it off, please clear the browser cache and check the outcome.

For reference on the steps, check the section “Turn off Offline mode” in this article: Work with OneDrive web app when offline - Microsoft Support

If there is any misunderstanding from our end, we apologize and request you share the more detailed information with some screenshots (if you get the error when attaching the images in your reply post, please upload to any cloud location and share the link with us), where it will help us to better understand and guide you further.

Appreciate your patience and understanding. Have a great day!!

    Best Regards,

    Sophia
