[email protected] is giving false alerts stating "High-severity alert: A potentially malicious URL click was detected." But when verified URL's are clean and only pattern observed is they are redirect links that pass through Google's URL structure (e.g., google.com/search or google.com/url).

    Dear naveen.mel.cs_8466

Thanks for raising your concerns in Microsoft Community.

We understand that you received an alert about [Potentially malicious URL click detected].

What we need to confirm with you is whether this is a message prompted by Microsoft Defender?

Is your computer in an enterprise environment?

This prompt is a detection of the environment by Microsoft Defender, which will generate a detection report.

If you are indeed in an enterprise environment, we recommend that you post a question in a dedicated community section for consultation.
