Thank you for posting back.

Based on the screen shot, the reason why your synced files have locked icon because the site is on read mode only. Unfortunately there is no way for us to bypass this even if you move the files to different local location on your computer as the files have permissions that only your admin can control.

You can still try to copy the files and move it to your local folder and check if you can edit it. I would suggestion you to contact your previous colleague or manager to reach out with your admin.

hi,

i am not part of the organization anymore, i would like to recover my files and disconnect with OneDrive.

my question is if i unliked my OneDrive on my pc, can it work normally? my files are stored locally already.

ALSO , if i unliked my ondrive on my pc, can i can have edit permissions?

Account Deactivation: We've determined that this Office 365 account is unauthorized. The account will be closed on Oct 20 2022, 11: 09:48 UTC and you'll lose access to your files on this date.

Very Important This site is read only at the farm administrator's request.

please help. i have no contact with the admin.

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

Based on the description, all files and folders have lock icon in your OneDrive sync folder. Apologies for the inconvenience caused to you by this behavior.

OneDrive will show a padlock icon next to the sync status if the file or folder has settings which prevent it from syncing.

After you check the Restricts and limitations in OneDrive and SharePoint syncing, and you need to edit the files, I would suggest you to access your OneDrive for business on browser and edit it using Office online or open it using your Office desktop client.
