A family of Microsoft word processing software products for creating web, email, and print documents.
A similar issue was reported to Microsoft in July and supposedly is under investigation. I've submitted this thread to revive the discussion.

Version: Microsoft 365 for enterprise 2208 (Build 15601.2030 Click-to-Run) (Monthly Enterprise Channel)
OS Version(s): Windows 10 and 11 (Enterprise for both)
Issue: saving .docx as .PDF causes links to "disappear".
Example: 3-page document, all 3 pages have text with links, when saved as PDF the links are gone in the PDF file for pages 1 and 2, but page 3 is fine. If we remove page 3, then page 1 still loses links, but page 2 is fine. If page 2 and 3 are removed, then links are gone in the PDF for the single page. This also occurs if we remove page 1 and save page 2-3 as a PDF - the resulting document has no links for page 1, but page 2 is OK.
This has happened in the past, links were working for save as PDF in version 2203, then broke with version 2204 and didn't start working again until 2206. It broke again with 2207 (15427.20210) and hasn't worked since.
Is anyone aware of a fix for this, or an update that will be coming?

Dear RJCSM,
Sorry for our late reply. We test the file on our side and we could repro the same behavior, but on our side the links in page3 were broken. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this scenario. It seems like there might be compatibility issues between the desktop application and the PDF file(with build 2208).
So we suggest you to feedback this issue to Microsoft product team with the feedback feature and use the web version before a build updating. How do I give feedback on Microsoft Office?
Thanks for your understanding and cooperation!
Sincerely,

I am just checking to see if you were able to replicate the issue with the file I shared. Thank you
Hi, no I have Office Home and Business 2019 Version 2209 (Build 15629.20208). Sorry that I was unable to assist.
Thank you for the reply! Are you running the same build as we are? Microsoft 365 for enterprise 2208 (Build 15601.2030 Click-to-Run) (Monthly Enterprise Channel). This will work if we use Word on the web, or non-enterprise versions, but not for the build indicated, which is on 40K+ workstations.
