Sway keeps forcing a refresh then completely crashes and sends me back to Sway Home. How can I fix this?

When editing in sway (adding text/images etc.) after 15 seconds (on average) Sway will pop up with a message saying something has gone wrong and I need to refresh. It losses about the last couple of seconds of editing that I had been doing when it refreshes. Every 4-5 times this happens I get a green screen telling me to return to sway Home as something has gone wrong.

Hi All,

As per the updates from the related team, the problem was mitigated and I request you to check whether you still have the same problem at your end. If yes, please clear the browser cache and cookies to check whether you still encounter the same problem.

If you still encounter the problem please contact the IT admin of your organization and create the support ticket from the Office 365 Admin center for further investigation with the developing team. Reference: Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Docs

Appreciate your patience and stay safe!!

Best Regards,

Chitrahaas

    Hi Jazlyn

I am also having the same issue over the last couple of days. This seems more widespread to be a local environment issue. I am in a different institution to others who have logged issues. I have tried other browsers etc.

    Thank you

    Sophie

Exact same issue happening, different organisation, different users and computers within our NSW school. We use SWAY all week and this problem has been happening all day yesterday and is worse today.

Yes - I'm having the problem across different log-ins (different organisations and personal) so I think it is a problem on Microsoft's side.

They sent me here to post about it instead as apparently that page is specific to the Microsoft team who deal with Sway: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/sway/sway-keeps-refreshing-every-minute/m-p/3188109/highlight/false#M555

    Hi,

I work for a different organization entirely and I have the exact same problem.

This has not been a problem in the past although I have not used sway for some months until now.

I use a browser (chrome) on a mac. My organisation belongs to a county council.

    Thanks

    Rob
