Hi Adelina,

Do you remove the user access with the following steps?

In OneNote 2016 desktop application>select that notebook>Share>in Shared with section, right-click that user>Remove User.

If yes, please access the cloud storage (OneDrive or OneDrive for Business) of your notebook. Click Share>More>Manage Permission to check if you can remove that user's access from cloud.

If you cannot remove his access with this method, I'd like to confirm the following things:

  1. Where do you store your notebooks, OneDrive or OneDrive for Business?
  2. Do you use OneNote 2016 in Office suite or the default OneNote app in Windows 10?
  3. Share the notebook with a test account, remove his access, check if the issue is related to all users or just that user.

Best regards,

Tim

Thank you. I will try removing user using the online version.

As for the item you wish to clarify --- All our notebooks (class notebooks) are store in OneDrive for Business. We are subscribed to Office365 Pro Plus. Right now I access my notebooks using OneNote 2016 in the Office Suite.

I will let you know if the second method works. Thanks again.
