Hello. I have created a Microsoft account and that account was later renamed so it basically is still the same account it just got a other email adress. Now the problem is that when i log into feedbackportal.microsoft.com and go to profile it shows me my old email. When i log i to my Microsoft account then there is no problem and shows the current email. So it seems those two things are not fully synchronized? And how can i fix this because I've been trying a long time and it seems there is no option to contact support about this. (As there is also no topic abiut this i have put this in Microsoft community topic)

Hello Arquel C. I previously made an account that had only one email adress so that was also primary email adress and around some time there was a issue with the account, so i contacted Microsoft support and this led to my account being renamed ( Replaced old email with new email address) this was done by Microsoft support at request and on November 23th 2023 it was changed. I also have a email of that. After that i logged into the Microsoft apps i have and etc and pretty much every app changed automatically to my new email adress, including xbox account. I can also sign in everywhere with the new email adress. But i discovered that Skype also was still somehow displaying my old primary email and i managed to get that changed but for the feedbackportal.microsoft.com account it seems there is nowhere an option to change the email which i thought would change automatically.

Step 1,2 and 3 I've already done a d unfortunately no change step 4 not but i want it to be the same as what my Microsoft account email is now. I'm trying to get it right for a long time but not successful unfortunately.

    Hello,

Thank you for posting here in Microsoft Community.

Basing on the description you have posted, the changes made on your account did not reflect on the Feedback Portal website. Possible reason for this is due to the cache and cookies of your browser. To set your expectations also ahead of time that Microsoft accounts are being managed by an automated server which we don't have a direct access to your account.

I'd like to confirm few details for me to have a better view of your concern:

    • Did you set the email address a primary alias?
    • Can you provide me the detailed steps on how you change or renamed your account, please?

Here are trouble shooting steps you can perform:

    1. Clear your browser's cache and cookies as they might be caused by a corrupted temporary file.
    2. Use another browser or device in accessing the website, see if it has the same issue.
    3. Make sure the email address you have added is set as primary alias on your account. Login to Manage how you sign in to Microsoft.
    4. Create a new alias and check if it does the same issue: Add or remove an email alias in Outlook.com - Microsoft Support

I hope this information helps! Please let me know if you need further assistance.

    Regards,

    Arquel C.
