Stop receiving email notifications of people responses for some events

Hi,

In my organisation, we use the outlook calendar to organise meetings, etc. It is very useful to receive notifications via email when people respond.

However, I use the same tool to create seminars with many invitees, so it becomes very annoying to receive hundreds of mails and notifications for them. Is there a way to prevent outlook to send me emails for some of the events?

In my experience, that is not correct. I have been looking for an option to only disable email notification, but none seem to exist.

When you uncheck "request responses" and someone responds, you are unable to see their acceptance under tracking. The answer shows up as "none". I have tested it multiple times to no avail.

I agree with this, the same thing is happening for me, and I have also tested it many times. I need to be able to still see "Accepted, Tentative and Not Responded", when I open the meeting in Outlook. However, I do NOT want email notifications of people's responses! So frustrating and annoying that there is not an easy option to make this happen.

    Hello

Go to File – Options – Mail – Tracking and select “Update Tracking information, and then delete responses that don’t contain a comment.”

This will stop you receiving all calendar responses via email but will still track the responses. This way you are not flooded with accepted or rejected invitation responses, and you are still able to see who has responded and their response.

I had the same experience and it was a nightmare. I found this option to work for me.

This sounds very promising thank you! I will make sure to try it out on my next invite.
