I got around this issue by using the web browser instead of the app.

I opened a ticket with Microsoft Teams for Education support. Still waiting for response. I cannot attach an existing quiz and or copy from an existing team, but I can create a new assignment from scratch.

    Hello.

I need help!, I keep on getting "The destination class is being set up." when I reuse an assignment or I create a new Quiz. I tried on my Mac and my iPhone to do that but I always get that error. I don't know what to do. I cleared the cache on the Mac app, I did al the steps above but nothing,

I appreciate if someone can help me.

    DearĀ Jackson IT,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

"The destination class is being set up" error message usually appears when the class is still being created or updated in Microsoft Teams. This can happen when you have recently created or updated a class in SDS and the changes have not yet been fully synced to Teams.

To resolve this issue, you can try waiting for a few minutes and then try again. If the issue persists, you can try signing out of Teams and then signing back in. If the issue still persists, you can try clearing Teams cache by following these steps.

    1. Closing the Teams app completely > Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box > Type %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams and press Enter > Delete the entire contents of the folder that opens.
    2. Pressing the Windows key + R again and type %localappdata%\Microsoft\Teams and press Enter > Delete the entire contents of the folder that opens.
    3. Restarting your computer.

If none of these solutions work, please let me know and we can explore other options. Please understand that our initial response may not always resolve the issue right away. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution. We sincerely appreciate your patience and cooperation.
