MS TEAM accident undo turn in assignment

I recently undo turning in an assignment by mistake.

The assignment was due 2 days ago and I had already turned in my homework even 1 day before that. Today I was scooping around on Ms team and accidentally click the "undo turn-in" button. Then I quickly press the turn in button again in panic. The displaying message now saying my "turning-in" was 2 days late.

Question: Does the teacher know that I in fact turned in on time ( 1 day before the assignment due ) and not actually "late" like the displaying message prompting me ??

The option that lets people "undo turn-in" after due day even though they had already turned in their assignment is just so annoying...

Hi terrordrone,

Thanks for choosing Microsoft, I’m glad to offer some help.

Per your description, it seems that you accidently click the “undo turn-in” button and quickly press the turn in button again in Teams assignment, now you would like to whether the teacher know your exact turn in time and not actually “late”.

May I confirm this is your scenario? If so, based on our test, once you submit the work in assignment, it’s available for you to click the “undo turn-in” button, however, no matter how many times you undo and turn in again, the teacher will only see the latest turn in time in his side:

But the teacher can also check your exact turn in time, please let the teacher go to your work> click View history> then the teacher can see your first turn in time.

Regarding to your concern about “letting people ‘undo turn-in’ after due day even though they had already turned in their assignment”, we are sorry for the inconvenience caused at your end, as we can also have such behavior, to further help you, we kindly suggest youfeedbackthis to Microsoft Teams.

If there has any misunderstanding, please point out and we will continue further investigating it.

Best regards,

Gloria
