I am currently using a Lenovo laptop from 2011, running Windows 8. I am trying to upgrade to Windows 10, but whenever I start up Media Creation Tool, it shows the Windows logo, then it has a popup that has the error code "0x80072f8f - 0x20000". I would love to figure out what this means, and how to fix it. Below is a screenshot:

The difference between 7 and 8 is huge. EasyFix not applying, KB3140245 not officially available.

Install KB3140245 for Windows Embedded 8 Standard. Go to

https://www.winhelponline.com/blog/media-creation-tool-error-0x80072f8f-0x20000/

and run the file enable_tls.reg.
