This is a garbage response because it ignores the fact that windows 11 is the first that FORCES you to buy new hardware. No one cares about your 10 year being normal excuse. This is planned obsolescence to force people to buy new computers and i hope we all get a real good class action lawsuit going the second you end support for 10 and like 70% of people still don't have a new enough pc to run 11. This was so cocky of Microsoft to find they could do that and now things like Linux and steamOS are gaining ground. Just so dumb of you.
why is windows 10 ending support and when is windows 12 coming out.
after i updated my laptop i hot a notice saying windows 10 is ending support in 2025 and no theirs sign of windows 12 and its looks like ms is pushing windows 10 users to windows 11 and there is some people that don't like win 11 and another issue is a lot of businesses and are people still using windows 10 than win 11. does Microsoft has plans to release windows 12 at some point as i feel like we are forced to move to windows 11 whatever we like it or not. i will stick to windows 10 until i try windows 12 when it comes out.

2025-03-31T01:50:14+00:00 It's becoming harder and harder to defend Windows 10 against attack. It's a losing battle. Windows can no longer be protected by software alone. Microsoft needs to rely on hardware.
Anything made of software can be hacked, and artificial intelligence makes it easier for the criminals to defeat software protections. Hardware can't be hacked. (Not yet, at least.)
Unfortunately, this means that perfectly good computers lacking the necessary hardware (like mine) can't use Windows 11, because Windows 11 relies for its security on hardware that the computer doesn't have.
A better way to defeat attack is to move to the cloud, where your data can be protected by professional grade hardware. I would recommend to anyone who wishes to continue using Windows 10 after it loses support to store their data online and to use internet apps (instead of apps that are installed on your computer.) If you're not willing to move to the cloud, a Windows 11 PC is the next best choice.

2025-04-02T02:36:55+00:00 Windows 10 was never going to be the last version of Windows. That was said by Jerry Nixon at an Ignite conference, and it was hyperbole.
Still, there's an element of truth to that statement. Commencing with Windows 10, a new version of Windows is released every year, and the number after the word 'Windows' is strictly for marketing. The current version of Windows is Windows 11 24H2. The next version of Windows will be Windows 11 25H2 ... or maybe it will be Windows 12 25H2, because Microsoft knows it can generate some buzz in the marketplace (and some FOMO) by changing the number after the word 'Windows'. That's just marketing.
