Yeah, I also got a ryzen 5 7500f. From my testing this issue only occurs mostly while doing intensive tasks, resulting in applications going into deadlocks and causing screen tears, which only seem to be visual and go away after a few seconds but reappear shortly after. I have tried reinstalling GPU drivers with DDU several times but i still have the same issue. My guess is there's something wrong with GPU-CPU sync caused by the latest update. For now I guess what there is to do is rollback to 23H2 and wait for an update fixing this matter.
Screen Tearing Issues After Windows 24H2 Update
Since updating to Windows 24H2, I’ve been noticing screen tearing during regular use, such as scrolling through web pages, watching videos, and general multitasking.
- My GPU drivers are up-to-date.
- This issue wasn’t present before the update.
Is anyone else encountering this?

2024-12-15T19:17:40+00:00 Hi, i think I found a solution
I found that turning off “Optimizations for windowed games” in
System > Display > Graphicsseemed to fix the issue for me.But this is a temporary solution until windows updates and resolves this bug.

2024-12-19T08:23:28+00:00 Same issue on my HP 15s-fq1956nz notebook (from 2020) with integrated Iris plus graphic card. My screen flickers violently and goes black most of the time. All my drivers are up to date.
The issue appears already on the login screen. I have to force a hard reboot (long press power bottom) and immediately turn on again to temporary fix the problem. But it comes back again on next reboot...
I went back to 23H2 and the issue disappeared.Any clue will be strongly appreciated. Thank you.

[edit: this looks like a short term fix and the problem with scrolling and screen refresh has come back]
Thanks for posting this. That worked for me in combination with turning off "Variable refresh rate" right below it in Advanced graphics settings. Appreciated!
