Update for Windows Security platform - KB5007651 (Version 10.0.27703.1006) keeps reinstalling

Hi Folks.

Windows 11 Update installed this item on Jan 8, 2025. Since then, it's showed up in my "Updates Ready to Download" list. The only option I have there is to download & Install.

I hoped to find it in the list of updates that I could uninstall, thinking perhaps that might do some good. Alas. Not there.

Yes, I tapped into MS Support and the chap there walked me through the Windows 11 reinstall (the one that doesn't require me to backup/install all applications, only the Windows 11 operating system.)

Ah yes... I'm running 24H2 Build 26100.2894

Any ideas?

PERFECT!!! I upgraded to Win11 (finally) late last week, and that same update keeps "installing" every day since then. Today I did just as Phillip suggested.... I paused my Norton AV, then went into the Windows Security app, core, and disabled that setting. Re-ran updates and it "installed" yet again. Then closed out of Windows Security, went back in an re-enabled that setting, re-ran Windows Updates and it no longer appears. Great fix ... THANK YOU!!!
