After installing windows 11 all of my FPS games are affected in the same way. When you initially press a direction key like to move forward for example....your hero will stutter and not move forward unless you tap another direction at the same time. If I just press that forward key I will only stutter and not really move. This is seen in every one of my FPS games or really any game that requires you to use the direction keys to move. Anyone heard of this? Solutions?

Hello, I’m an Independent Advisor and I’m here to help.

The issue you're describing (where your movement stutters unless you press multiple keys) suggests a problem with keyboard input lag, key ghosting, or a conflict with Windows 11's input handling. This can be caused by outdated drivers, keyboard settings, or certain Windows features interfering with inputs.

You can try disabling Filter Keys in Windows 11. This feature may be causing input delays, especially when holding down a key.

Steps to Disable Filter Keys:

  • Open Settings (Press Windows + I).
  • Navigate to Accessibility > Keyboard.
  • Find the option Filter Keys and turn it off.
  • Restart your PC and test your games.

This feature is known to cause issues with responsiveness, particularly in gaming scenarios.

Let me know if this solves the issue or if you need another approach!
