Why am I getting this pop-up?

When I try to open a legitimate post on Facebook, it opens then I get this pop-up:

500 Something didn't go as planned! Please try refreshing the page or coming back later.

I've checked this and it says it might have something to do with updates. So, I checked for updates and I'm "up to date".

What can I do to prevent this from happening. All I'm trying to do is read a post made by local news sources.

Hi! I'm John.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. I'm here to help you with this.

Let's try to narrow down what's causing it.

First, does this only happen in Microsoft Edge, or do you see the same error in other browsers like Chrome or Firefox? That can help determine if it's a browser-specific issue.

Also, to get a better idea of what's going on:

Does this happen with every post from local news sources, or just certain ones?

Have you tried accessing Facebook in an incognito/private browsing window to see if the error still appears?

Click "Reply" below to let me know what you find, and we can go from there!

Regards,

John J.D.

Apparently it is a Firefox problem. I used MS and no problem.

Thanks for reminding me of the difference in browsers.

    Have a good day.
