Volume won't go over 37 and sound warning disappeared

After I plugged in a speaker to this laptop, I noticed that there is no way to increase volume over 37. There was no sound warning too. I connected my earbuds which I use everyday and have had no problem before, the same thing happens. How to fix?

Also there is no enhancement tab when both were connected.

I tried it. Didn't work. And even if it had worked, it would be weird that for found to work it must depend on something like a notification system.

The only way it worked was by removing the "original" driver installing the generic from realtek's website. But then comes a windows update and *****s the thing again.

It's a shame that a giant like microsoft clearly has problems on basic things like this one.

I hate this notification, so I went to the notifications section of the settings and disabled it, hoping I could just turn up my volume without being bothered. To my surprise, I ran into the problem that you're talking about, and to solve it I just went to:

    -Notifications & Actions settings

    -Get Notifications from these apps

And turned the "Realtek Audio Console" notifications on. Lo and Behold, the notification got back, and I could hit allow and turn the volume up.

After trying the imposible I read your suggestion and it totally worked....thanks sooooo much!!!

    thiagolfsilva's 10/23/19 solution worked.

    Settings

    • Notifications and actions

I get the annoying notifications when I take the volume over 37, but at least I can control it now.

So I was having the same problem. I was able to actually Find A Working Solution.

I have a Samsung 2 in 1 Laptop and I could not get around the stupid Volume Warning either. At this time, I don't even get the warning anymore... I just can't go above 37... Until Now.

    Follow these Simple Steps

    Control Panel

    Devices and Printers

    Device manager

Double Click On: Sound, Video and Game Controllers

    ** Look for Realtek(R)Audio

Right Click and select Update Driver

Select: Browse my computer for driver software

Select: Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer

Select the HIGH DEFINITION AUDIO DEVICE

    Click Next

You will get a Update Driver Warning... choose YES

You may be prompted to Re-Start your device (I'm using Windows 10)

And That's IT. Free To Listen As LOUD As You Want.

I hope this helps ( I found this solution online, I did NOT figure it out on my own).

By The Way... We can ALL Thank Realtek For The S*#T Storm They Have Brought Upon Us.
