Distorted colors on my Surface Laptop 7th

The screen of my new Surface Laptop 7th (Snapdragon(R) X 12-core X1E80100 @ 3.40 GHz 3.42 GHz) has been experiencing color distortion issues for the past month. The colors appear altered on the laptop screen, but they look perfect on external monitors connected via dock or Thunderbolt. In fact, when I connect a second monitor and then switch back to the main screen, the colors return to normal. However, every time I restart, the colors become distorted again.

    Is there any other solution? I've followed the steps and reinstalled, but when I connect it to the Microsoft Surface Dock, the same error returns. It's frustrating.

    It's exactly the same behavior as my Surface Laptop. I also downloaded the Qualcomm drivers and nothing.

    I tried all the steps you mentioned and I didn't achieve anything. In the end, I reset Windows and then it worked, but to my surprise, when I reconnected it to the Microsoft Surface Dock, the problem returned! I have a Surface Pro 5 that I also connect to the same Dock, and I don't have this problem.

    Further to this- these two pictures show what happens to the display. The first is after I disconnect from the dock- the display transfers normally to the laptop and the display is functioning as expected.

    However if I put the laptop to sleep then wake it up then this is what I get.

    The same display problem comes back every time I restart the laptop. The only way to get the display back is to reconnect it to the Dock 2. The display transfers to the external display normally, then if I disconnect the dock it will transfer to the laptop normally... until I power it off when the problem returns.

    I have also tried updating the display drivers directly from the Qualcomm site but that has had no effect.

    Hi,

    I'm having the same issue, I have a brand new Surface Laptop 7 running ARM.

    Out of the box the laptop's display was fine. I then connected it to a larger external display via a Surface Dock 2, displaying only on the external display and everything was fine. If i disconnect the laptop from the dock the display transfers to the laptop's display without issues.

    However if I then put the laptop to sleep or restart it, the display reverts to very low resolution with inverted colours. I've tried a number of solutions online but nothing seems to fix it, Including:

    Running all updates,

    Manually updating Surface drivers and firmware via this article;

    Download drivers and firmware for Surface - Microsoft Support

    I have also tried resetting the laptop, however when I reconnected to the external display exactly the same thing happened.

    Do you have any suggestions?

    Machine details are below:
