We started getting 401 access denied for bing image search api this morning. Looked in the subscription and our api keys were gone. Noticed our bill was past due. Paid it. Everything says active but we're still getting 401 access denied due to invalid subscription or wrong api endpoint. I also tried regenerating the key and I get "Failed to regenerate key"

The deployment of new Bing Search resources is no longer supported. Instead, Microsoft now recommends using Grounding with Bing Search.

It did not help. We have existing resources that are still 401'ing after paying our past due bill. Not sure if our subscription is in some kind of limbo status or what

It seems that your Bing resources are suspended due to a past due bill, which is likely causing the 401 access denied errors. Even after paying the bill, the suspension may take some time to lift. You should check the status of your subscription.

It's been over two days since we paid the past due bill. Subscription shows as active. We're using that endpoint.
Frankly this doesn't matter any longer. We upgraded to Standard support that's supposed to have a 4 hour response time and the only thing that's happened in the 48 hours since is it got assigned over 24 hours ago to someone.
In this time we managed to refactor our code to google custom search and we're now off azure. Support costs/times are just unacceptable.
