Since few days I am not able to sign in Azure using VS code. The Vs code has custom azure function written in javascript/ nodejs etc.. It says Security failure. Recently MFA has been configured for our Azure tenant. Will it be an issue?

No, it shouldn't @Ray, Gnyanendra. Note that you the Azure Account Extension has been deprecated and replaced with the built-in provider that utilizes the account signed into VS Code. Make sure your extensions are up to date and the account that has access to your Azure resources appears in VS Code Account menu.
