Windows 10 will not boot up, stuck on black screen, no access to Safe Mode, Advanced Recovery, and cmd prompt

The problem started when the PC was improperly shut down when I was fixing a fan. It would still boot up at this time but it was stuck in the Windows Automatic Repair loop. I tried System Restore to no avail so I seek out tutorials, assuming the problem was a corrupted registry file. The tutorial showed a System Reserve used to boot Windows and that require me to change the assigned letters of my disks. The reason I'm including this is because I want to be fully transparent and this may contribute to the problem I'm now having. What I did was I changed the original vol 0 to letter K and assign something else to C, I don't quite remember. At the time I also had 2 external HDD still plugged in, which was a mistake. After that, I cannot get Windows back to Advanced Recovery Environment.

I can access BIOS but once it reads the hard drive, I get the Windows logo with "Please Wait" and the loading icon. After about a minute, I'm left with a black screen. After some time pass, the mouse cursor shows up but nothing else can be done.

I have read other similar problems in this forum and tried different solutions such as interrupting the boot sequence by holding down the power button for 10 second twice (or more), but that still won't get me to the Advanced Recovery screen, thus I can't use the command prompt.

I have also tried to use a bootable USB drive to boot it using the Windows 10 x64 file from Microsoft's website but here too, I'm stuck. When I went to BIOS and picked the USB drive, it would just be stuck on a black screen with loading icon for over 2 or 3 hours. I don't know if it supposed to take that long with no prompt showing up.

My hardwate are all in great condition, so I don't want to give up on my PC. It just cannot boot up. I'm lost and out of ideas. What else can I try to save my desktop PC?

    In case anyone run into similar problems. My solution was hold down power button three times in a row while PC booting up till the next PC powering on gives you "Automatic repair" then it will lead you to blue screen with some options such "Advance Troubleshooting" then choose "Start Up repair" just wait an hour or less. It fixed my problems.

    What is the make and model of the computer / motherboard?

    Find multiple flash drives that you can format (> or = 8 GB).

    On a working computer create tools to use on the problematic computer.

    1) Create a bootable Memtest86 flash drive:

    3) Create a new bootable Media Creation Tool (MCT) (Windows 10 iso):

    3) Boot to the BIOS

    a) Make sure that if available secure boot is disabled / off

    4) Boot to the Memtest86 flash drive

    Run Memtest86 for 4 passes > take pictures > post images or share links into this thread

    Memtest86 has a feature to create text reports.

    If possible include the text reports with the images in the share links.

    5) Boot to the Sea Tools flash drive

    Hi lkHrt-6049,

    It is a quite complicated scenario, this happened to my computer once however the most important thing in this case is to save your data first. If you’re stuck on a WINRE loop (Windows recovery loop) and if you can open ‘cmd’ (command prompt) on the recovery screen, then there is a way to save your data, even if it is not possible to recovery currently installed Windows.

    Are you still able to open command prompt on the Windows recovery screen? If not try to repair Windows 10 using a bootable USB and then check if the command prompt is accessible or not.

    Please update with your findings!
