PL-300 expired 4 days ago – Request for exception and unable to access Credentials Support

Hello,

My PL-300 certification expired on November 4, 2026. Unfortunately, I accidentally mixed up its expiration date with my DP-700 certification, which expires on December 17, 2026.

I understand the renewal policy, but I would like to kindly request consideration for a one-time exception.

I have also tried accessing Microsoft Credentials Support through Engage Center using Chrome and Safari, including private browsing. However, the Support for Business workspace remains stuck on the loading screen.

Could someone please advise how I can reach the appropriate support team or submit my request through an alternative channel?

Thank you for your assistance.

Regarding renewals, the renewal period is open for 180 days before your expiry date. Renewals are free and take 25-30 minutes online. The renewal window cannot be extended or reopened. There are no exceptions.

Regarding Certification Support, the Engage Center with Support for Business workspace is the only location for certification support and the only method for contacting them is via the Engage Center Hub. You need to keep trying:

PL-300 is a role-based certification, so it is valid for one year and must be renewed before the expiration date. After it expires, it can no longer be renewed and must be re-earned by passing the required exam(s). Renewal by retaking an exam before expiry is not an alternative path, and no alternative renewal paths are available.

For exception requests, Microsoft is currently reviewing existing AI Skills Fest voucher-related support requests. Learners who contacted Microsoft Support regarding voucher availability or voucher expiration on or before September 1, 2026 may be eligible for an exception review. Support requests submitted after September 1, 2026 are not considered under that exception process.

To reach Credentials Support, use the online support request and submit a case with these selections:

    1. Go to online support request.
    2. Confirm Product family = Learning.
    3. Confirm Product or Service = Microsoft Credentials.
    4. Select the category that best matches the issue.
    5. For Types of Support, select Professional No Charge.
    6. Enter location and time zone.
    7. Select Email as the contact method. Credentials support is provided through email, not phone.
    8. In the description, include:
      • that PL-300 expired on November 4, 2026
      • that the expiration date was confused with DP-700
      • that Engage Center stays on the loading screen in Chrome, Safari, and private browsing
      • Learn Username from Learn Settings
      • screenshots of the loading issue

After submission, the case number is displayed and also sent by email. Case status can be checked online from the Manage tab.

If the Credentials Support page shows access issues, similar support guidance indicates these steps can help:

    • Try opening the Credentials Support link again.
    • If Microsoft Credentials is not selected, create an account in Engage Center and then open the Credentials Support link again.
    • If a message appears that the session is using a guested personal account, sign in to Microsoft’s tenant for Personal Users, select Login to Engage Center, and open the Credentials Support link again.
    • If No Access appears, use Switch Tenant and select the correct tenant.
