Hi, let me help you.
Open Command Prompt as administrator and run DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth. Wait for it to finish, then run sfc /scannow, and restart. That repairs damaged Windows system files, which a 365 repair never touches. After that, a quick and very telling test is to create a new local user account, sign in to it, and try opening Word there.
Follow these steps to create a local account;
Open Settings, go to Accounts, then Other users (it may say “Family & other users”), and click Add account next to “Add other user.” When the Microsoft sign-in window pops up, click “I don’t have this person’s sign-in information” at the bottom, then choose “Add a user without a Microsoft account.” Type a username, set a password, answer the three security questions Windows Home asks for, and finish.
After that, sign out from the Start menu, pick the new account on the lock screen, and give it a minute to set up. Then try opening Word or right-clicking one of the .exe files, same as before.
