Sent email from MS 365 Family and a GoDaddy hosted domain Being Rejected

I have had a Microsoft Family 365 subscription for several years. I use a GoDaddy domain connected to legacy Outlook.com personalized email concurrent with my MS Family 365 subscription. Email delivery to Microsoft-hosted recipients (both members of my Microsoft Family Subscription as well as external outlook.com email accounts) are intermittently failing. However sent test emails to Gmail have succeeded.

My SPF record on GoDaddy was originally set up and still is set up as:
v=spf1 include:outlook.com -all

I am receiving 550 5.7.23 and 550 5.7.1 error messages on the returned undeliverable email message headers.

Complete rejection message is:
Message lacks SPF/DKIM/DMARC Auth Records

Why is this all of a sudden occurring? How do I resolve?

    Hello,

    Did you only set up SPF? If so, you also need to make sure DMARC and DKIM are set up too, otherwise it is not enough, all three records are required.

    I do see a sudden surge of reports like this today. Typically this is a hard requirement for high-volume senders, but not sure if Microsoft changed its policy today. I cannot find any publicly available official information regarding any potential change. As an independent advisor, I am not working for Microsoft. I am just an experienced user but I don't have a way to verify internally.

    Regardless, I strongly recommend getting those records configured. Email authentication requirements are only going to become stricter over time, not more relaxed. Microsoft isn't the only company enforcing them. Google and other major email providers have similar requirements.
