Dear Microsoft Worldwide Learning Security Team,

On Monday, 2 November 2026, I received a "Notification of Microsoft Certification Exam Ban" from your team, stating that I was identified as having violated exam rules and that a restriction was placed on my ability to register for and schedule Microsoft exams. This email is my formal appeal of that ban, submitted within the 14 calendar days allowed by your notice.

I contest this decision. The notification does not say which exam rule I am alleged to have violated, nor what behavior or evidence led to this conclusion. I therefore ask that you:

  1. Review the video recording of my exam session in full, together with any other session data used to reach this decision.
  2. Preserve the recording and associated data until the appeal has been fully reviewed.
  3. Tell me precisely which rule I am alleged to have violated and what the finding is based on, so that I can respond to it.
  4. Lift the restriction on my account if the review does not confirm a violation, and allow me to reschedule my PL-300 exam promptly at no additional cost.

This matter is already the subject of Microsoft Credentials Support request 2610290050001702, handled by Leonil M, who is in copy of this message. I have also contacted Pearson VUE, which is conducting its own review. I would be grateful if your teams could coordinate with each other and give me a single, clear answer.

I remain available to provide any information or supporting material you may need. Please confirm receipt of this appeal and let me know the expected timeline for the review.

Best regards,

Christopher Singer
