Unknown pdf documents on one drive home page

Question

Unknown pdf documents on one drive home page

UKSTALLION 0

I have just opened my one drive (of which I do not use), and seen a list of disgusting .pdf files listed on my home screen. I have never used this, nor bisited any webpage that would even provide an opportunity to have these documents in my one drive, so my question is where did they come from?

Additionaly, why is it you cannot open a support ticket toi have someone look at this and rectify it!!!!!

Hi, These are because the spammers have added them to your email address, these aren't taking up any space on your PC. You need to delete these under the 'Shared' tab. You will also need to change your password. Microsoft will only provide support to paid customers so we can provide community support. If this has helped you solve your problem please accept my answer so it can help others in the community with the same issue!

Thak you very much for your prompt response. I found the shared folder and remove them (I think) from there. However they are still liksted on the Home page. Is there any way to have them removed from there? I recently chnaged my credentials, and believe this only happended once the 2 factor verification to my gmail account was activated. Would you happen to know how I can remove that?

Regards

Hi to finally remove the files:

Remove from Recent/Home: You can go into your OneDrive Home page or Recent tab. Hover over the file and click the circle box next to it. Click the ‘Remove from list’ option.

Hide using Microsoft 365: If they are still appearing then please log into the Microsoft 365 Portal. Find the list on your dashboard. Right click the file. Click ‘Hide’.
