Missing API from Microsoft Store?

Through the Microsoft Store, there isn't a way for the app to verify the contents of the new app before an update.

That means that if there's a security breach in my company, and the attacker reaches Microsoft Store upload variables, I can not protect my users from installing a malicious appx through the regular update. That's because the API provided doesn't provide means to provide additional verification methods. For an app whose security is a sensitive issue, this is a gross violation of update mechanism standards. Any respectable app has specific set of verification procedures, which usually encompasses more than a simple certificate equality. Therefore, I hereby demand you guys to add missing API from microsoft store to enable apps to verify downloaded update. Forced update, which is the current route, could simply be a last resort, and remain available through the UI with the appropriate error message.

My question: When will this new, reasonably demanded feature, be available?

Windows development | Windows App SDK
