Laptop Keyboard and touchpad not functional after Windows 11 updates

All,

Need a little help and I have tried multiple ways to fix the laptop. The laptop is HP 2-in-1 that can fold into a tablet. With Windows 11 there is no longer a toggle to turn on/off tablet mode. After doing Windows updates, the physical laptop keyboard and touchpad no longer works.

I went into the BIOS and was able to confirm all of the hardware works fine. All checked out, so that leads me to it being a windows software issue. Here is what I have tried so far, without fixing the issue:

-Updated to the latest HP BIOS.

-Disable Fastboot startup.

-Went to device manager and uninstalled both the mouse and keyboard drivers, restarted.

-updated to laptop to the most current windows build.

-Updated the Optional Updates.

-After all of those failed, went into CMD Admin and did a rebuild of the system files and recovered.

-Completely reinstalled windows(keeping existing files).

There are no conflicts in device manager. I am able to add a separate mouse and keyboard and they function fine. Any additional suggestions would be appreciated to fix this issue.

    Hello,

Welcome to the Microsoft Windows Community.

Good afternoon. This feature is related to HP drivers, not Windows functionality. Please visit the HP website, then download and reinstall the touchpad and chipset drivers.
