An Azure networking service that is used to provision private networks and optionally to connect to on-premises datacenters.
The error VnetCannotGetUpdatedWhenDeletionWasAttemptedEarlier indicates the VNet is stuck in an incomplete or failed deletion state.
- Check Activity Log for failed delete/update operations on the VNet.
- Verify whether dependent resources still exist (peering, gateways, private endpoints, delegated subnets, NICs, etc.).
- Retry the delete operation via Portal, Azure CLI, or PowerShell after confirming dependencies are removed.
- If the VNet remains stuck and both update and delete operations fail with internal server errors, this is typically a backend resource state issue.
