I have not been receiving any emails for over 36 hours. I am able to send emails. I have rebooted, tried online version, other computers, and my mobile device.

    Hi Elizabeth,

To help me better understand the issue, could you please provide the following information:

    • Are you unable to receive emails from all senders or only specific senders?
    • When someone sends you an email, do they receive any bounce-back or error message? If so, please share the full message.
    • Have you checked your Junk Email, Deleted Items, and any inbox rules that may be moving messages automatically?
    • Is the issue affecting only your mailbox, or are other users in your organization experiencing the same problem?

In the meantime, I'd suggest the following checks.

    1/ Check mailbox-specific settings

    • Review the Junk Email folder and Blocked Senders list to ensure incoming messages are not being filtered unexpectedly.
    • Confirm that the mailbox has not exceeded its storage quota, as a full mailbox may prevent new emails from being received.

(If you don't have administrator permissions, please ask your IT administrator to perform the below checks)

    2/ Run message trace

Please involve your tenant admin to run a message trace in the Exchange Admin Center (EAC). This will help determine whether the email was ever received by EOP and provide visibility into its delivery status. Run a message trace and view the results in the Exchange admin center in Exchange Online | Microsoft Learn.

3/ Review mail flow rules and anti-spam settings

Sometimes, mail flow rules or spam filters may prevent emails from reaching the inbox.

    • Go to the Exchange Admin Center.
    • Navigate to Mail Flow > Rules and check for any rules that might redirect or block incoming emails.
    • Also review Anti-Spam Policies under Microsoft 365 Defender > Emails and collaboration > Policies & Rules.
    • Make sure there are no filters or rules targeting the affected user’s mailbox.

    4/ Contact Microsoft support

If the issue persists after these checks, consider asking your IT administrator to submit a support request directly to Microsoft Support team. In this case, further investigation may be required at the service level, which is not accessible through standard administrative tools.

I hope this information is helpful.
