The renewal option appears only when the Azure grant is within its renewal window. Renewals can occur only on or up to 30 days before the grant’s annual expiration date. If the grant is outside that window, the Renew Now button might not be shown yet.
To check for it:
- Sign in to the Nonprofit Hub with the validated Microsoft account tied to the grant.
- Select Nonprofit grants from the top navigation.
- Locate the $2,000 Azure Grant offer.
- If the grant is eligible for renewal, the Renew Now button appears next to it.
Important details:
- Early use of the full $2,000 balance does not make the renewal button appear earlier.
- If the grant has already expired, renewal is still possible after expiration, but any usage during the gap is billed at standard pay-as-you-go rates until renewal is completed.
- Unused credits do not roll over.
If the renewal button still does not appear when the grant should be eligible:
- Confirm that the correct Microsoft account is being used.
- Check the Nonprofit Grants page in the Nonprofit Hub to verify the Azure benefit status and expiration information.
- If errors continue or the benefit is unclear, submit a support request through the Contact Us form.
