Hello Tatsuki,
Since the websites work through a VPN or another network, this is unlikely to be an account issue or a deliberate block by Microsoft. It may be caused by an IPv6 or routing problem between your Internet provider and Microsoft’s network.
Here are some suggestions you can try:
- Connect another device to the same home network and test the affected websites. If the same websites cannot be accessed on another device, the issue is likely with the router or Internet connection.
- Open your router’s settings page or app (open Command Prompt > enter
ipconfig>note the Default Gateway address. Enter that address in your browser, then sign in using the router administrator details, usually found on the router label. You can also use the router manufacturer’s mobile app, if available), then check Security, Firewall, Parental Controls, or Web Filter. Temporarily disable these settings, test the Microsoft websites, and re-enable them afterward.
- Temporarily disable IPv6 in your network adapter properties, restart the PC, and test again. Similar cases involving Microsoft and Minecraft services have been resolved by using IPv4 instead.
To temporarily disable IPv6 for testing:
- Press Windows key + R, enter
ncpa.cpl, and select OK.
- Right-click your active Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection and select Properties.
- Clear Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6), select OK, then restart the PC and test again.
If disabling IPv6 helps, re-enable it afterward and contact your Internet provider. Ask them to investigate IPv6 routing to Microsoft services and mention that the websites work normally through a VPN or mobile hotspot.

Please let me know how it goes after trying these steps, and I'll be glad to continue looking into it with you.
