Hi, psy bug
I understand the issue: after you remove a section, Clipchamp sometimes changes the audio after the cut, including words you meant to keep. That isn’t how splitting and joining clips should behave. I found a similar report, but I couldn’t verify that this has been confirmed as a known bug or that a permanent fix is available.
Here are some suggestions you can try: First, keep the original recording and make a copy of the project before editing further. On the Clipchamp home page, select the three dots on the project, then Make a copy. In the copy, zoom in on the cut and check whether the first word of the following clip is still there before moving the clips together. If it has disappeared, undo the edit rather than continuing with that cut.
Since you’ve reported this repeatedly and already shared a screen recording, please contact Clipchamp support through the help icon in the editor and refer to your earlier reports. Ask them to review the recording as a possible editing defect and confirm whether there’s an existing investigation or fix. If you use a work or school account, your IT team can raise the support request.
